How long can I keep prepped Overnight Oats in the fridge?Updated 9 days ago
Once you've mixed your ELEAT Overnight Oats with milk (or water) and popped them in the fridge, they'll keep happily for up to 2 days.
This makes them brilliant for batch-prepping — make 2 or 3 jars on a Sunday night and you've sorted breakfast for the start of the week.
A few tips for batch-prepping:
- Use a sealed jar or container so they don't dry out or pick up fridge smells.
- Keep any fresh toppings (berries, banana, yoghurt) separate and add them in the morning so they stay fresh.
- Give them a quick stir before eating — the oats can settle slightly.
- If they look a bit thick after a day or two, just splash in a little extra milk.
Beyond 2 days, we'd suggest making a fresh batch — they'll still be safe but the texture starts to lose its magic.
